What a course looks like
The appointment itself is short, usually well under an hour including preparation. Most of the change happens over the following week as your skin turns over, which is why peels are normally done as a course, spaced a few weeks apart to match your skin’s renewal cycle. Most courses run to between four and six sessions, but the number is set after your patch test rather than guessed in advance.
With a superficial peel you can expect a few days of light flaking, which make-up covers easily.
